Self-Defense Without Borders
Join a global Krav Maga network built for pure self-defense. No politics, no rigid syllabus—just independent learning with top-tier local and international experts. Start your journey with zero costs for the first 3 months and connect with a community that’s all about real skills, real freedom.
The event will consist of learning how to use hand guns safely, some basic shooting tactics combined with Krav Maga weapons based techniques. There will be plenty of live shooting & drills with an allocation of roughly 400 rounds per person.
This event will take place over Friday, Saturday, and half-day Sunday in Essex, near the beach. There will be multiple training sessions in different locations. Weather permitting, most sessions will be held outdoors—on the beach, in the sea or swimming pool, and other areas to be confirmed.
This full-day workshop takes you inside a decommissioned aircraft fitted with special/media effects, to experience what it’s like to be inside a hijack or aggressive passenger situation. You will understand how to avoid being the focus of attention for hijacker, which could lead to you being singled out for hostage negotiation, interrogation or worse.

Meet Nick Maison, the driving force behind Krav Net. With over 20 years of teaching Krav Maga across London, the Thames Valley, and beyond, Nick’s been in the trenches—literally and figuratively. A former British Army Sergeant Instructor who served 14 years (including Bosnian peacekeeping), he traded military life in 2003 for something closer to home. That’s when he discovered Krav Maga—a raw, practical self-defence system that hooked him instantly. Since 2004, he’s been sharing that passion, running classes, leading instructor courses, and even choreographing fight scenes for movies while training celebrities on the side. For Nick, it’s not about titles or rigid structures; it’s about real skills that work when it counts.
Nick’s taught thousands—regular folks, combat pros, and everyone in between—how to defend themselves, get fit, and find a crew of like-minded friends. Having once led the UK charge for big-name Krav Maga organisations, he’s now all about keeping it independent with Team TKM and Krav Net. From corporate gigs to private sessions, he’s built a community that’s as diverse as it is dedicated, blending Krav Maga with influences from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and his Army roots. Whether he’s breaking down a street-smart technique or laughing with students after class, Nick’s mission is clear.
Why Krav Net? “I’ve seen the politics—I’m done with it. This is real self-defense, for real people.”
